Fay is a certified Equine Massage Sports Therapist, a graduate of Equissage Europe, trained by Helen Woolley.

Fay is fully insured by Balens insurance and a member of the International Association of Animal Massage Therapists.

Fay also has the certificate in Handling and Managing horses in Equine Assisted Learning, and a diploma in Equine Psychology which has given her an understanding of behavioural and physical problems.

Fay is a qualified Teacher, has a level 4 qualification in Equine Assisted Learning Facilitation and a level 2 qualification in Children and Young Person’s Mental Health. She is DBS checked, has a council welfare licence and has up to date safeguarding and first aid training.

She runs Equine Assisted Learning sessions from her premises in Gayton, working with her ponies to support children disengaged with school, those with SEND, depression and anxiety and veterans with PTSD.

Fay was sat on horses before she could walk, and has been around them all her life. As a child she was an active member of the West Norfolk Pony Club, on her lovely dun Connemara, Mr Punch. She was proud to be in the successful show jumping team and gain her B test while in the Pony Club.

A few (!) years later and Fay is a mum to 3 boys, but still maintains her passion for horses. She has a beautiful Haflinger, Oxnead Hopeful (Hope), who she competes in dressage, show jumping, ODEs and Trec at Riding Club level, and showing up to county level, which has given her a good knowledge of the demands on an athletic horse. She also has a quirky connemara, a couple of wonderful elderly welsh ponies, and a sweet shetland and foal.
